An Eternal Soul

Like a sunshine,

Like an old wine,

Like a girl so mine,

She became the shrine.

Like a soothing song,

Like the joy I long,

Like the heaven along,

She flashed like a thunderstorm.

Like the breeze in spring,

Like the melody I sing,

Like the proposal ring,

She bestowed like a love sting.

Like the warmth of fire,

Like the truth from a liar,

Like the calm in the ire,

She blossomed to inspire.

Like a path alone,

Like a stranger known,

Like my own clone,

She rose beyond skin and bone.

Like an Aphrodite in Greek,

Like the zeal at its peak,

Like a happy tear suspended on the cheek,

She is the one that infinity seek.

Like a dove white,

Like a chuckle in fight,

Like a drunk night,

She became the love in twilight.

Like a view in rear,

Like a sight so clear,

Like an old peer,

She is my reflection in the mirror.
